I recently wrote Note Taking and how important it is to write notes. Sharing your notes is a whole other animal. It can be vulnerable, people can judge what you’ve written and comment on it. But, I think it’s important to learn in the open.

I initially got interested in sharing my notes when I was deep into my obsidian journey, having collected and organized tons of notes. I discovered a concept called digital gardens through sites like:

Essentially, digital gardens are a way to publicly share some of your obsidian notes. There’s a lot of pay offs in my opinion:

  • For one, it’s useful for career opportunities.
  • Second, I enjoy the process of reviewing my personal docs and evolving them into something public ready. I build a deeper understanding.
  • Third, I hope it helps someone out there learn something or find interest in note taking.

How did I build this? See colophon.
